We had 33 players come out for our June event. They enjoyed a wonderful “all you can eat” buffet in the restaurant that was included with your poker registration. Although they were late to get the food out, it was delicious.

Congratulations to Lori Harmon for winning the 18th Annual Tampa Police Charity Texas Hold’em Tournament. Not only will her name be forever placed on the trophy, but she also won $448 in cash. Lori and Cliff Roberts decided to share the pot and play one hand for the winner and have their name on the trophy. Lori did have more chips than Cliff, playing that last hand. Cliff also won $448 in cash. Lori donated $48 back to charity. Cliff donated $100 back to charity. Thank you.

Corey Roberts came in third and won $225. Corey donated $25 back to charity.

Joe Dobrinski won the 50/50 drawing. He won $210 and gave $100 back to charity. Thanks Joe.  Mark Delage donated several sweat shirts and t-shirts from the Tunnel to Towers organization. Along with the Law Enforcement Torch Run polo’s I had, everyone had a chance to walk away with a prize. Thanks Mark!!!!!

Lori Harmon had quad deuces for a $25 gift card each. No one else had a high hand.

Our next tournament is August 1st. We will continue to have a first break add-on for $20, for another 5,000 chips.

During the first hour of play, if a player has 5,000 chips or less, they can donate $20 to charity and receive 5,000 chips. But you must have chips, to take advantage of this. If you bust out the first hour, you must rebuy for $50, for 10,000 chips to continue.

We will also have additional door prizes that will be given away.

Thanks for your continued support.

Every regular event will have a first break add-on for $20 and you will receive 5,000 chips. Every event will also allow a player to re-buy during the first hour for $50 to receive 10,000 chips. Remember, you must have at least one chip to qualify for the $20 first break add-on. However, if you want to forfeit your chips at the end of the first hour, you may do so and re-enter for $50 and 10,000 chips. You may then do an add-on for another $20 and 5,000 chips.

2026 Events:   February 07, April 04, June 06, (dinner buffet included), August 01, October 03 and December 5th.  The Tournament of Champions event will be Saturday, January 09th, 2027.
