Welcome back Martin Shapiro. After a two-year absence, Martin returned to win August’s tournament. Thanks for donating a portion of your winnings back to charity. Barbara Schamp came in second and Allen Yergovich came in third.
With Barbara and Donna Bordner already qualified for the Championship event, it opens up two more wild card slots. We have two more tournaments available for players to qualify.
High hands were won by Gay Romine with quad fives and Bob Schamp with an eight high straight flush.
We had 29 players, with four tables.
Brian Carpenter won the 50/50 for $200 and donated $100 back. Thirteen different players won gift cards, shirts and hats from door prizes.
Our next event will be October 4th. This event will be a normal event with some food located in the poker room. We will only have the first break add-on.

Every regular event will have a first break add-on for $20 and you will receive 5,000 chips. Every event will also allow a player to re-buy during the first hour for $50 to receive 10,000 chips. Remember, you must have at least one chip to qualify for the $20 first break add-on. However, if you want to forfeit your chips at the end of the first hour, you may do so and re-enter for $50 and 10,000 chips. You may then do an add-on for another $20 and 5,000 chips.
2025 Events: February 01, April 05, June 07, (dinner buffet included), August 02, October 04 and December 6th. The Tournament of Champions event will be Saturday, January 06th, 2026.
